Unfortunately he was unable to help much in servicing the engine so the morning was spent tinkering whilst Jane and Martha visited Kalmar Castle
After lunch we visited the Kalmar museum where there was a fantastic display of artefacts from the Kronan...a warship that sank in the 17th century.
Excavations since the 80s have revealed a huge horde of items including a set of female clothes worn by particular sailors when they were doing the housework
One member of the crew was particularly interested in the film about the diving operations
This man was caught in the act of trying to catch a rope being thrown by the crew of Calismarde
Tonight we are looking forward to the arrival of Julia and Dave, Bonita's new crew
